Dr. Kam’s Background
Joanna Kam, MD received training as a classical pianist and earned a Piano Performer’s Associate Diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She later obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology & Immunology from the University of British Columbia. She received a full-tuition scholarship to attend the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and was acknowledged for her induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, which is a highly esteemed organization.
Dr. Kam then completed a residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI. She moved to Philadelphia as a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellow at the University of Pennsylvania and now calls South Jersey home.
